Used to be with Tesco for ages but found that the call volume I was making meant that:-
a) contract wasnt economical
b) never used up the full "triple credit"
c) charges were beginning to creep up.
Just switched to Sainsburys as daughter had been with them for months with no issues and then this.
Call cost wise Asda is similar but TBH havent really looked into it in great depth yet. Will be looking for a "true" PAYG. Those rolling bundles wont be suitable as, like I say, usage is not that high.
------------- It'll work out in the end!!!!
I didn't do it !! Nobody saw me do it !! You can't prove anything !!
I have been with Asda for a year or so now on PAYG. Customer service has been fine and coverage here is much better than Vodaphone so very satisfied so far.
Alpiner, i agree with you the (whats app) is brilliant if you want to keep your mobile bill to a minimum.
i use it all the time from home when calling all my family who also have the app then use my normal service when out and about this way my contract usage has been reduced dramatically.
Your other suggestion for the free service sounds good will give it a go, like you said what have you got to loose
Been on pay monthly contract with Orange since 2004, currently with EE on a pay monthly SIM only 4G contract.
I do not have 4G coverage at my home address, however, my current phone is 4G ready and can use 4G wherever it is available.

Vodaphone pulled out from Sainsbury's as Vodaphone no longer wanted to give the deals they had been to Sainsbury's.
Sainsbury' staff had an amazing deal, I was planning on switching next month, glad I didn't. It was a surprise to all us Sainsbury's staff too.
