Hi wondered if anyone had any experience of this?
We have an 11 month female Pug.
We are currently living abroad, we had her spayed in July, I thought this was early, but vet advised me it was fine. I would have waited, but we were visiting the uk for nearly a month, leaving her with a dog sitter. I didn't want to get back to a pregnancy.
Since then she has been ill with urine infection and on antibiotics every month!
I've never had this with a pet, apart from costing us quite a bit of money, we wanted to bring her back to the uk with us next year, I'm now thinking, she can't be on antibiotics for ever, will she end up being put to sleep because of this?
She's had scans and x Ray's, no abnormality. She got no crystals in her bladder. Tried a special urinary diet. Non of it has worked, we are really worried 😢
