Went to see him at Bingley Hall 1978 and Main Road Manchester 1987 what a showman.
Holy thread resurrection Batman!!!
Thanks for coming. I was part of that show at Bingley Hall Staffs, hope you enjoyed it given the minimal “show” on that tour. Two years ago today, we had a tough day in this household - we lost a good friend. Did a little reminiscing and a couple of days later visited some old haunts with my now missus to add a little colour to the sadness. Being of Jamaican origin, she loves the unique Bowie reggae stuff I still have in the personal archive from days gone by.
Still feeling a loss. I must be getting old, seems like yesterday. Two years in the click of my fingers. RIP mate.

Don't worry...I am sure someone will eventually spot him running a fish and chip shop in Bradford or somewhere else
Nah, Kirsty McCall says that guy swears he’s Elvis

BBC 4 are doing a tribute night to him later - we live near Aylesbury where there is going to be a statue. He performed on of his 1st gigs there along with many others - can't remember the name of the club!!!
