Went away to Shrewsbury last Sunday and it was 2 degrees with snow on the ground. Back home today to 17 degrees. Good time, very muddy. 2 very cold nights.
Odd that New York is on latitude of Portugal & under feet of snow when UK is on latitude of Northern Canada & quite warm. It's the Gulf Stream that makes the difference.
------------- New Year: Hesketh Bank
Feb/March: Red Squirrel
March: lakes
June: Morecambe
Aug: Lake District(not camping camping)
October: Red Squirrel
The snow was at home, we didn't have it in Shrewsbury. We stayed at Sutton Grange Nurseries CL, at the back of Percy Thrower's, just along the road from the new football stadium (puts Luton Town to shame).
