Having just watched '24 Hours in A&E' I was touched by just how extraordinary, ordinary people are.

Eighteen year old Chelsea, visibly moved by the plight of some older patients, recounted - with real love - how she had been her grandad's carer. What a very special, beautiful and gracious young woman she is.

There are some truly amazing people among us. It makes you wonder how many other young people are putting their own lives on hold in order to care for older relatives. The selflessness of this girl is actually rather humbling.

My bosses daughter cared for her grandmother before she died, she was that moved by the care home her nan was in that she worked their for free from being 16/17, she's now in her 1st year at york uni studying to become a peadiatric nurse.

We love it. The bit where the staff speak at the start can be very moving. The welsh doc, Rhys? - sometimes has a top knot - speaks about love, gets us every time.

Twice I've been to A&E with sirens on, so I've seen it from the user side too.
