Well it's time to start checking the caravan over so it's ready for our 1st trip way this year in three weeks time ,hopefully it won't need a lot doing to it as it as been used as a spare bedroom on and off since before Christmas last year with family staying over for two or three nights at a time ,so I was just wondering when other people are thinking of going on their 1st trip away this year ?

First trip of the year was 29th Jan (Gertrude). Off for a weekender tomorrow, then the week after Easter. My fan heater is a Dimplex DXGLO2.

Nothing planned yet, but I only had the tent out once last year, which is simply not good enough! Must try harder. First trip will be in May probably, though I could do April at my favourite site (Rynys) if I booked hookup.

Sunday for 8 days to Bulley Farm CL, between Gloucester and the Forest of Dean, then 6 days at The Paddocks CL, near Hereford. 2nd site was fully booked for Eater ages ago, hence going there on Easter Monday.

Actually our 3rd trip, already been to Shrewsbury and Hailsham, plus we were away for Christmas/New Year, nearly blown off the face of the earth in Pembrokeshire.

It has been and gone. Mid January in Glencoe with some of the Dead Squirrel Gang (DSG). We were lucky enough to have had some snow during our visit.

Had another trip away last weekend with the DSG and the Nutters group up in Forres. Fantastic weekend with a great mix of campers

We had a meet last weekend in the North of Scotland, 14 of us came from far and wide to join in. A great time was had and the weather even behaved for us

Actually it was a UKCS members joint meet of dedicated , all year tent campers , the Dead Squirrel Gang and the Nutters

I've had a couple of trips so far this year. Both were joint meets of the DSG (Dead Squirrel Gang) and the Nutters group. There's nothing like good company to keep out the cold!
