Interestingly, I would never dream of acting on an email addressed 'Dear customer' that requested you to click on a link, but my wife has recently unexpectedly received just such an email from Amazon! Contacted them through usual routes and it turns out to be a genuine email. Wouldn't you think a company like Amazon, selling technology products, would know better?
In the last few days had them from banks I don't use, the last one was from the tax man saying I haven't claimed my overpaid tax of £265and only have a few days left to claim it which would be nice only thing is I don't pay tax.
