Hi , being of a certain age now I am starting to look into retiring in hopefully 4 years time , soooooo I tried the gov.uk get a state pension quote to see if I qualify for the full state pension which you need 35 years of national ins payments ,any hoo all was going with the form until how much income tax did I pay in my March 31st pay , I entered the exact amount paid on the wage slip ( with no pound sign ) as requested all accepted fine , but when I put in my NI payment exactly as per payslip it stated that did not match their records but it is exactly as per payslip , if you are having problems we will get back to you within 2 days, was wondering if anyone else has had a problem ? perhaps it is because it is only a beta version of the form at present Thanks for any replies
You should be able to download a BR19 form to fill in the get a pension estimate. I did once have a problem getting a quote and when I phoned them the reason was that they were still using my old address in Southampton after been in MK for more that twenty years so sometimes the strangest things cause an issue!!!
I don't understand how they could have records of what you paid in March 2016 as the employer does not have to file the individual records (P35) until 19th May!
Hi, if the query isn't sorted now you might like to try phoning the state pension helpline, their number should be on the website. I called them when I had a query and they were very helpful.
