I was just mentioning in another thread , about my best ever wet shave , and it got me thinking about , my bestest life memories , most of mine would involve my daughter , including my presence at her birth , and her first appearance on stage with her dance troupe , at the age of three , proud times indeed , one of my favourite memories would have to be of her mother though , at the time , my girlfriend , late eighties and a big frizzy hairdo and Dallas shoulder pads , we'd just arrived at walthamstow market , typical street market , shops , pavement then stalls both sides of the street , there'd been some heavy rain , but it was lovely sunny and warm by now , we were just about at the first couple of stalls and manoeuvring the crowds , she was in the lead by about a yard or so , all of a sudden the stall holder decided it was time to empty his water filled canopy , talk about a tsunami , luckily though , it completely missed me , the old woman wasn't quite so fortunate , I could barely stand up , ;-) what I would have given for a camera phone at that time ...
