Well the last few weeks have been pretty poopy to say the least. I was told I had a suspected tumor in my ear, this has been causing me to be deaf since Christmas, my Dad had been diagnosed with testicular cancer, and the on going story of my nephews Leukemia (he is now 6)
So Friday 13th saw my latest visit to the hospital for a scan to see how my lump is attached to my ear drum. The specialist decided it was more just a flap of skin over my ear drum and he wanted to take it off there and then!
In for penny, I decided to go for it.......blimey I can`t believe he did it! for the 1st time since December I can hear normally, he cleaned out the other ear as well and then tested them (some loss, but nothing to worry about for now)
On my way home I get a phone call from my Brother to say my Nephews treatment has worked, and although he can`t be given the all clear until he is 18 things are looking good. I will never be superstitious over a date again.
Now we can concentrate our efforts on Daddy, and helping him and Mum through his Chemo.
So glad things are looking up hearing lose is isolating and your little nephew getting better from an illness that takes to many youngsters now your dad hope things improve for him I will keep you in my prayers Wibsey
Sorry I dont know you but really glad you had such a great day, I just hope in the spare 5 minutes you had you got the Lottery on as well But what is a lottery win compared to your health
