This is the first time in over 2 years I've felt heat at night after the sun has gone down. Really enjoying the weather as it was dire up here last summer. Did a sponsored walk on Saturday in Glencoe. There was an option of 24 or 12 miles. No-one attempted the 24, we all did the 12 and even that was hard going.
Our weather has broken. It started raining on the way home. We got a dry pack up and it is still 18℃. Quite refreshing now.

Been roasting up here since early May..Face and arms nicely tanned...Just back from Yorkshire where we had to put a tarp up as a sunshade rather than as protection from rain....
Camping quote of the weekend..."Nice to have a dry pack up"....Believe me that does not happen up here very often!!
Classic camping weather....

I'm surprised my badly napper is not hurting tonight could feel it starting get burnt working today. Started my window cleaning days work I thought it was quite chilly but by 10 it was really starting to heat up. This weather just makes you feel on top of the world.

Jelboy you came to Yorkshire and didn't let us know!!!
It was gorgeous weather and a beautiful location. We had a DSG/Nutters meet. As Jelboy said, tarps and umbrellas were being used as shelter from the sun. That's just unheard of in my camping experience! Brilliant!
It has been hot in between torrential cloudbursts but now it is back to 12℃.
I now have a lovely deep tan from hill walking every weekend but Im not missing the heat or the weight of the water I had to carry. If it stays like this I'll be happy.
