Hi all, are we going to get a summer this year, as the amount of rain that has fallen in South London these last months with my holiday just a couple of weeks away to sunny Devon we hope

Just take:
summer clothes
winter clothes
coats
flip flops
wellies
waterproofs
fan heater
hot water bottles
umbrella
sunshade

and you'll be fine!

I got sunburnt in Ayrshire today. Really red shoulders! The TV coverage of the Open Golf in Troon is proof of the sun there today. As Billy Connolly says, there's no such thing as bad weather just the wrong clothes. So it's waterproofs tomorrow...

Yeah! I dealt with it working outside for over 20 years and 50 years walking up Scottish mountains and I still haven't adjusted to it.
Who needs sunshine?? Well aparently our bodies need it, probably why I have a vitamin D deficiency or as its better known as the sunshine vitamin

It's been a lovely day up in Aviemore - but by lovely, I mean, not raining! We just dodge the showers and take waterproofs with us. But it would be nice if the weather were much warmer!

i went to angle sea 3 weeks ago,weather was amazing.hot and dry.even had a bbq.having said that,this summer so far has been crap
