Hi,
We are off to Scotland for a few weeks and will hopefully end up in Crail in two weeks time.
Trying to keep fishing gear to a minimum.
Would anyone know any good spots for lure fishing in that area ?.
If not will have to squeeze in the beachcaster and gear for it.
I will be in a motorhome so needs to be quite local to there.
Regards,
Greg
Many thanks for that Dave will look them up on Google.
Do you know if there are any restrictions fishing off any of the harbour walls?.
Last year in Dorset there were restrictions on overhead casting off the harbour wall at West Bay.
Regards,
Greg
There's a nice (but a tad expensive) site in Crail, virtually on the shore and a short walk from the harbour.
If the weather is too bad for fishing, I thoroughly recommend the "Secret Bunker" a few miles away. This is a vast, fully equipped 'cold war' bunker built to house government etc.. in the event of a nuclear war.
------------- Two drifters off to see the world.
I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.
Hi Capt,
Thanks for the info ,we are booked in at Sauchope Links site.
I will keep the bunker in mind ,sounds like something I would like to see.
Regards,
Greg
We stayed in anstruther last year in a apartment just of the front it's nice place if you fancy fish and chips try the wee chippy very nice we though they where better than the famous fish bar
Nice places along the coast and we loved St. Andrews
Have great holiday
With the east Coast Winds good luck casting of the harbour Walls
That time of year there will not be too many tourists on them to get in your way. Tight Lines.

Same problem down here with the winds Peter, on the Bristol Channel.
To be honest I don't care if I catch anything ,just like to be down by the sea.One for the pan is always a bonus but not a must.

Greg
