27th November, the anniversary of the day in 1295 when Lancashire first sent representatives to Parliament, to attend the Model Parliament of King Edward 1st.
Today we had a town crier in Church, reading the Proclamation. Yes, a bit of fun, but interesting history. A loyal toast to the Queen, Duke of Lancaster!
