Mock all you like folks (and I'm just as much of a sceptic about weather forecasts - and the DM!), the last few days have been been very interesting. Some people have been without phones (land or mobile) or tv and power. The entire island has been rallying around and Calmac has been brilliant about keeping us updated and managing to get two ferries over tonight so people coming home, some of whom have been stuck for two days, made it home for Christmas.

Have a peaceful Christmas.
