Haha you would have thought so, trying to escape through the Wallesey tunnel.
They drive so slow, you try and get onto the motorway behind a queue, the lead driver doing less than 50 mph. I wonder at times if the speed limit been lowered and if there has been any changes in the Highway Code. Instead of Mirror signal, manoeuvre and only if safe to proceed. It's now, manoeuvre, mirror, signal, swerve back into own lane.

motorway driving is easy, you just sit in the middle line at about 65 mph, even better if your windows are steamed up and then you can be oblivious to anything around you
I find cruising past them (if i come up to one) whilst in the inside lane jogs them back to life, and they usually move inside. I'm buggered if i am going to move out 2 lanes just to go around them 'properly'. They shouldn't be there!

I notice that whenever you see a news clip on motorway traffic the inside lane is usually empty of cars just HGV's using it.
On forums you get people complaining about middle lane hoggers but from what I have seen the majority of car drivers do it!

On the rare occasions I have used the M25 they seem to hog all 4 lanes. If you get yourself lodged into the nearside lane you will never get out again.
Incidentally, undertaking except in queues of traffic is illegal
I have found having five aerials on the roof of my car a great deterrent to all but the determined eejit.
What's people's issue with HGVs? The vast majority are much more courteous than car drivers in my experience. Being courteous rarely goes without thanks from them and, if circumstances permit, they get thanks for their thanks.
