I have a warm place in my heart for Hull, since taking DD up to uni there; then doing some work at Hull College. The people are great, the beer is good, and cheap, and there's plenty to see and do. And I love the accent.
I was proud when I found out one of my graduates was running the projections for City of Culture; time for a revisit, for other events. Anyone recommend a nice campsite in the vicinity?
Burton Constable is about 15 mins outside Hull in the Holderness countryside, a very nice site.
e mailed Hull council no plans for designated motorhome ovenight parking in the year of culture.Should be 1917 year of culture way behind the times. Not like Lytham St Annes,Blackpool,Bury St Edmunds who cater for motorhome parking in their towns.

As said above, Burton Constable is a very nice campsite on a bus route into the city centre.
