Well I do believe the neighbours from hell have split up and in the process of moving out.
House next door is rented out and the occupants ..started off ok but gradually over the last three years have got rowdier and rowdier to the point were we just didn't want to spend any time at home.
Just got to wait and see who's moving in next but at the moment it's bliss.

Always a worrying time waiting for new neighbours.
Sounds like they could not be any worse than you had.
Hope it works out well for you.
Regards,
Greg
Just as Greg has said, I hope things work out for you.
I am not sure how I would cope or react to neighbours who have a negative effect on my life. I fear there would be tears, the trouble is they could be mine.
We will have new neighbors soon on one side. Dreading it as walls are paper thin.
There is no fence in the back between us as there was never a need, but there soon will be. A nice 5ft high one that you can't see through....Just in case!!
We have awful neighbours on one side, really nasty people who go out of their way to do things to make our life uncomfortable.
It can be stressful, I am sure you will get considerate new neighbours.
I've had my share of bad neighbours over the years. I could probably write a book about them ...
I had the opportunity to buy an acre site and build a detached house some years ago. The peace and quiet was hard to describe. Heavenly. PLUS I had the advantage of being able to play music, or have a party, without being heard at the garden boundaries (with doors/windows closed mind!). Wish I still had that house !!!
