Hi Gillian,
We are all doing the backslapping.
Do you have to move? .
I know you worry somewhat, hope you are happy with the arrangement. You were upset how you treated hubby, now's the time to make him his favourite meal.
If Mike 3003 is to be believed, get out the Vick and spoil him rotten.
Very pleased for you G, and hubby who must have been desperately worried.
Very best wishes,
Greg
Let's out a big sigh of relief.
I have been following this but didn't want to risk a jinx by posting. So happy for you both.
My work was informed of redundancies a week after I gained promotion 8 years ago. They always seem to do it after New Year. It was a good package, 6 weeks for every year but I only had 2 years service. I was informed I had a month. I'm still there 8 years later. The external time and motion assessors they got in had cocked up so I was kept on. I reckon they don't really know I'm still working there.....
Once again. Been through it and can see how lucky your husband is to have you by his side.

Ewen - I think you're right! It's always New Year when this happens (happened to him before). We don't have to move, thankfully. He covers the whole of Scotland, which he did before, so no change there. He's been utterly amazing - so calm through it all and so determined to get another job. I am blessed indeed. We've had a few celebratory gins and I've saved up to take us all out for dinner next weekend. I'm not best pleased with myself for being a bit of wreck throughout all this, but my brain just isn't wired positively!
Thanks for all your support, everyone. Love this forum 😊😊
