Congrats to all Mike. Aren't grandkids just the best. Love our two to bits. All the fun. Then hand em back. Brilliant idea
Mike,
Isn't it the most wonderful setup?. You have all the fun, ignore their nap times and discipline(to a point),
and then joy of joys you hand them back to the beleaguered
parents.
I always played hell with my parents for letting my kids get away with murder when we had the rod of iron. Now I understand it. Getting older surely makes you a lot wiser.
Regards,
Greg
Ha, yes. I love it. And you know what? They make me a better man

My advice is worth no more than the price paid for it
Hi,
Hijacking Grampy Mikes post a little, as grandparents, who has turned from a strong disciplinarian to a huge softy?.
My grandchildren get away with murder(my kids would not have ).
I also think you enjoy seeing these little people grow up without any pressure as parents.
Great news for Mike!.
Regards,
Greg

Your right Greg, my grandson, 4, makes me smile and laugh every time. They say the funniest things.
Mike
Not sure about anyone else,us Welsh get emotional ,without the pressures of parenthood you get to appreciate every part of these little people grow, and when you hear the word Grampy from a little soul struggling with words you go next door and wipe the tears of happiness away.
Mike ,great post, made my day. Thank you.
Best wishes to you and yours,
Greg
