Hi ,
As a 1950's kid love the old doowop music as well as the later stuff.
The above is an app for phone or pc on the net(apologies if this has been posted before).
May I recommend KZQZ radio, and have a look about for some others for real cracking 50's/60's music.
Bought a 1 by one bluetooth speaker Xmas time for a third of it's price in one of the Amazon 40 minute sales.
We have just been listening to the Hollies,Beatles,Stones,as well as all the great 50's singers.
Feeling nostalgic.
Regards,
Greg
If you have VLC media player you can go into the menus and select Icecast Radio Directory and you'll find thousands of radio stations from all over the world and every type of genre.
Yes you can just go on KZQZ website & click listen. As pointed out you can google search any sort of radio station website throughout the world & listen online from the station website. A good one if you like modern country music is Kean radio from Abilene Texas. Another good one is Dutch Arrow classic rock.
Hi,
Thanks for that both, just over the moon we can use the phone and speaker when we are away.
I am obviously way behind you on this subject.
Thanks again.
Regards,
Greg
All I use Greg is a PC at home with a big heavy pair of PC speakers that are years old but still blast out ok. I know nothing of smartphones & apps. Just use google. Whatever genre you want country soul rock etc. Example. Search term 'US country stations' brings up websites of country stations all over US. On most of the websites you just click listen & that's it.
