And, for anyone looking to spend the amount of money that a 2-year old van commands, they possibly want the benefit of a warranty (is the Lunar warranty transferable, do you know?).
Sorry to be late picking this up.
Lunar warranty is transferrable, I did it when I bought a 2 year old van from a dealer and Lunar charged £25.00 to have the paperwork put in my name.
Proved a very good investment later when we needed warranty work doing.
So sorry Nora...it's a difficult time, I know having just been through it. I sold my caravan to a lovely family on here...just luck really, I saw a post, commented on it and they were smitten with it. I had it advertised on here and preloved (I've never had a problem with this, sold our folding camper on there), only had a few enquiries, but it was possibly the wrong time of year...I'd say now is a much better time to sell.
Sorry to hear of your brothers' death.
www.motorhomedepot.com are now selling caravans. They earn their commission through the buyer. Well worth contacting them, I'm selling my Motorhome with them and they do absolutely everything for you. Takes all the stress off you.
Good Luck
Anne

How does this work? They must be adding a premium to the sale price. As i cannot see a buyer paying what they think is a fair price, and then be landed a 'sellers commission' on top. If the commission is encompassed in the price, the seller has to be ultimately standing this, surely.
We have sold a £10000 tow car on Preloved, a £13000 caravan on Ebay and a £27000 motorhome on the CC classified site. No problems at all. Two were direct bank transfers as they were picked up and the £13000 for the caravan was cash. It took me ages to count and check for forgeries.
