Had a great a great 5 days at the TT, has to be seen to be believed. The weather turned very nasty Monday night, wind and rain, and I mean wind and rain, but that did not detract from the fantastic event it is.
£40 got us 5 days unlimited transport, bus, tram, horse tram and steam tram. Less than £10 a day.....What a bargain.
But I must say what a fantastically friendly and helpful bunch the Man people are. I have never been to a place in the UK where the people are so welcoming.
Thank you to the lovely people of the Isle of Man. 😀👍😀👍

Has the bug bitten? back next year?. I would like to go later in the year for the MGP and the Classic TT
Yes, certainly back next year............But NOT camping 😀👍
Glad you enjoyed it Mike3003 - try homestay next year if you don't fancy camping - I did warn you the weather could turn nasty and gave you details of the emergency TT face book site - The Admin of that site are such stars they must have found available beds for at least 300+ wet and cold campers with locals (and for no charge)- I have two campers currently staying in my spare room whose tent totally collapsed under the rain as I camper myself I know how miserable it can be as so like to help when I can.
When I see how the Island has rallied round to help all concerned offering showers, washing and drying facilities and spare rooms, campervans, lounge floors, sofas and even dry shedsto help out it makes me proud to be an Islander.
You have every right to be a proud islander, I thought the people were outstanding. A huge 👍👍👍👍 to the people of the Isle of Man and the island itself.
I am determined to take my wife for a holiday there in the not too distant future.......When the weather is better!
The TT was everything I expected and more but it will be homestay next year. 😀😀
