Well done Lions, could not quite snatch the series but a great effort from a put together team ravaged by injury and unavailability only 7 weeks ago.

This and recent results over the past 12 months or so really shows were the strength in rugby is, the Northern Hemisphere and Britain in particular.   Every SH team has been blown away by NH teams, both home and away, and the fact that the ABs are not the force when refereed by someone with backbone who will stand up to them, and not fear for his future in international rugby.

Also good to see the AB fans as gracious in defeat as they are in victory...........I wish there was an imoge for sarcasm. 😀

Good series, but I'd like the ref to explain why he overturned the last minute penalty call to a scrum.

IRB Law:

When a player knocks-on and an offside team-mate next plays the ball, the offside player is liable to sanction if playing the ball prevented an opponent from gaining an advantage.

Sanction penalty.

ABs will feel hard done by and rightly so.

I have not seen the incident but: a, Is LIABLE to sanction. b, Did it prevent an opponent from gaining an advantage.

Tha ABs will always feel hard done by if they don't win, they have for as long as I can remember.

No tears shed for them here I am afraid, they have always had it their own way for far too long.
