It makes perfect sense Roy doesn't it. I have know idea why there was an introduction of so much carbs it's ridiculous and produced low or zero fat products, because they replaced fat with sugar, which is an empty calorie. I initimitinly reduce my intake of food as well. I cook with coconut oil, yummy. However olive oil has a very low heat tolerance and only to be used in salads and dips otherwise in high heat, it develops an extra molecule turning it into hydrogenated fat as we all know which is very bad fat.
In the past I thought I was eating healthy, how wrong can one be. Maybe if I ate how I do now, I would not have developed my T2 diabetes. Now I know fat does not make you fat, helps with weight loss. Contradictory in terms but true nor does it increase health problems, and yet mainstream researchers dont want to admit or acknowledge carbs are a problem, plenty of data and research to back it up.
For me Roy c I'm not on meds, because of how I eat that's because I ignore the outdated official advice.
I was informed by my nurse, my way of eating is unsustainable and that I have to eat some carbs. Eat carbs how illogical is that. It's like telling someone who is gluten intolerant, they have to eat gluten.
Real foods the way to go, minus the carbs. People talk about the China study for the bases of plant based food diet, it supposed to reduce cancers and is the most healthiest diet I found some who researched that study using the original research data, apoarently it doesn't. It's amazing how researchers gave rise tinted glasses and conveniently ignore countries and people who have high natural based fat diets.
