If you look on the reverse side of your membership card it gives you a number to ring with reference to 'UK Club Sites Advanced Booking'.

On Wednesday 6th Dec you can book early and secure your perfect pitch for 2018. At 8am the 2018 UK Club sites go live and you can book pitches for stays from 16th March 2018 to 4th Jan 2019.

The date ALL the best sites get booked up....Then get cancelled once the weather forecasts for the specific area are in...

For example...

A friend books the same dates at 4 sites for NORTH, SOUTH, EAST and WEST of the country ..Guaranteed good weather on one site. A week before he cancels all but one so gets the best weather...he says he's die it for years....Yes, he's a cheeky sod !!

I've given up using the big sites due to the mayhem of booking ...stick to CL's

I think a lot of people do that. It’s incredibly selfish. We’ve been trying to get into Rowntree Park in York since about July but it’s been fully booked. The warden told me to ring a few days before we want to go as there are bound to be cancellations.

We only use CL's too but don't you have to place a deposit prior to booking a club site?
If you do then that's a guarantee of losing 3 deposits on 4 bookings.

You don't pay a deposit for a CAMC site, at least we didn't for Cirencester. We did pay a deposit for a C&CC Club site. We normally use CLs/CSs too, but this time of year the CAMC site with midweek discount worked out quite cheaply.

I seem to remember saying this a few years ago on here and was shot down in flames by somebody who claimed it wasn't possible to make multiple bookings for the same dates. Doesn't bother me as we never book anything more than few days in advance in the UK and even then we prefer the CL sites. However we were once told by the warden at Black Horse farm that it always pays to ring the site direct if it's last minute(ish).

No sorry not possible to have multiple bookings for the same or overlapping bookings just another urban myth .

WOW! That's all way too much stress for me! I never lose any sleep over a particular site. If the first one I try is booked, I just try somewhere else. I know we will enjoy ourselves somewhere, wherever it may be. Life's too short.

I have received an e-mail today from the Caravan and Motorhome Club stating that they are taking bookings for their club sites from Wednesday 6th December. The booking dates will be from 16th March 2018 to 4th January 2019 so hopefully this answers your query.
