I make that 1 day (31st July) + 16 months + 5 advent days. (From registering on UKCS to winning an advent prize).

Give or take the odd hour, I make that about a month quicker than me.

I am very pleased with my prize; my grandsons are very much looking forward to trying it out on a garden camp - when it's warmer! I say warmer because, thinking back to a photo someone posted about a Cub (or was it Scout?) camp in the snow, one of my grandsons would take that in good part but the other would turn into a right drama queen if he had to wade through snow to the loo. Funny how siblings can be so different!

I'm not jealous but I wonder if all those who won a melamine dinner service know that melamine is made from carcinogenic formaldehyde which is also used for preserving dead bodies...just saying

I won a prize this year on day 21 , (safire roaster ) shocked and delighted to see my name there! just as I was saying to my wife that I never win any thing on this advent comp .
