Sounds more like getting rid of older more experienced and therefore more expensive staff by making your life impossible, I call that constructive dismissal.

Pretty much impossible to prove and win. Costs money for the tribunal, has to be done in 90 days and that's after company appeals and acas, currently only about 1 in 50 wins.
Unions have so many restrictions these days

Its a while ago when I took the company and union to court and the reason I went to court was that back then maximum compensation from tribunal was 10,000 with court there is no limit and i was angry enough and financial secure enough to to take them to the cleaners, but there was always a chance of loosing so I don't recomend it to anyone who cant afford to loose
