Panacur isn’t effective against the tapeworm caused by fleas. You can check on comparison charts which tablets kill which parasites.
I crush the drontal plus then mix it with peanut butter and kibble.

Your diet sounds horrendous.

We use this too, but not the meat flavour ones, just in the small tablet form.

We changed to this when the super ticks announced their arrival grr

£15.74 per tablet from Animed online plus a prescription from my vet for £12 = £27.74 every 12 weeks??? Might need a bank loan

I am actually ok re fleas and ticks because I use Advantix - 4 doses for around £30. It is worming tablets I am struggling with every 3 months.

UPDATE...I managed to give her a whole Drontal tablet hidden in a big ball of corned beef...then I had the rest in a sandwich. (The corned beef not the tablets)

She didn't even notice the tablet, so perhaps I will try that next time since Drontal certainly seems to work. She has never had worms as far as I can tell and neither has the wife.

I was just getting the dog’s worming tablet ready, opened the foil and left the tablet on the side, went to get the peanut butter, came back and tablet gone off side and dog happily chewing away. Next time she is due medication I’m going to leave it where she can steal it, works for me!
