SO relieved. What an epic. All involved who came together to work this miracle should be incredibly proud of such an achievement. Now to make sure all the rescue team come out safely, and the boys recover from their trauma without mental scars.

Why the hell ANYONE would want to take a crowd caving at the start of the monsoon season beggars belief - and that's putting it mildly.
I'm glad they're all out safely, but the mentality of that coach????

Totally agree with you, what the hell was he thinking?.
Sadly one man had to lose his life over this stupidity.
Thankfully all are out safe, a wonderful achievement.

I think the coach has had his punishment . He will never forgive himself, and I believe he must be truly sorry. When he realised his mistake, he put the boys health before his own. I believe he was one of the weakest when found. He will live with this for the rest of his life. Yes , the outcome could have been catastrophic , but they are safe and the entire planet can breath easy.

Jeeze he is only 25? So young himself, and probably still so naive

I agree with you, Lorfal. I think the guy has had enough punishment - as you say, the outcome could have been a tragedy.

I’ve been glued to the news the last week or so - just willing these boys and their coach to be safe. I can’t imagine the agony the families have gone through. And what heroes the divers have been - wonderful to see divers coming from the UK also. So important to remember the diver who sacrificed his life in order to bring oxygen to the boys.

A great relief all round...xx
