Can anyone recommend an Insurance Company that offers reasonable rates for pre-existing medical conditions?

I tried that site but no-one on it would insure me. I am now in the process of trying other sites but its annoying that these companies only want to insure people who are extremely low risk, even those who say they will insure people with pre existing conditions. I was just wondering if anyone had any direct experience of this problem themselves and how they resolved it.

Try Age UK or Saga insurance, l no longer travel abroad but they both offered cover for several pre existing conditions when l did.

It used to cost me around £175 for a fortnights cover to fly on a package holiday to Spain about 5yrs ago using these companies.

We no longer go abroad, but when we did, we used a company called Avanti, they insured George's conditions ( although mild compared to some) worth a try?

if you have a local broker try there as someone to "listen"to you about your needs, wife needed some cover for a trip to the Useless of A, [post breast cancer] and got sorted there, Saga also would but were slightly more expensive"

The CCC gave me the third degree then wanted nearly £300 extra for my asthma. The CAMC asked if my meds had changed in the last two weeks and there was no extra charge. I think it was about £300 for both of us and the van breakdown cover for 4 months.
