Before a sandwich maker was invented.
Did we not toast the bread each side fill the centre and hey presto.
A toasted Sandwich.
So let me get this straight .. all these years I have been making sandwiches I have been doing it wrong ...I should be ironing them??
That does not bode well ... I discovered a lot of years ago when staying in a London hotel that newspapers are supposed to be ironed before reading them ... I am still trying to do that right .. every time I try it the newspaper gets all wet from the steam jets on the iron. 🤔

Have a word with Stuart, I'm sure his butler irons his morning paper for him

We laminate our toasted sandwiches before we leave and pop them in a boiling kettle when we want to eat them.
please, tell me how the hell you came up with that idea.
i dont care if it works, i just want to know the thought process that led you down this path?

He does it to seal the printing ink into the paper, so that I don't get dirty hands. Surely everyone does this.

So how does he do it without getting the paper wet with the steam ... or have you not let him buy on of those new fangled steam irons and make him used the old solid ones you heat up on a fire? 🤔
