Why is it a postage con?
Surely as a buyer, you look at the sum of the selling price and the postage price and set a limit.
For example if an item has postage of £2 and you only think it is worth £6, then common sense telly you to only bid £4 maximum.
I have sold items where I have had to estimate the postage costs, I over estimated but the costs had to include packaging materials, tape, packing foam.
