We made a fair amount of money decorating glass jars as candle holders using scraps of ribbon, hessian, pines cones etc. They looked really effective with a tealight in. Luminaires

We also made Xmas eve bags; cheap brown paper bags with a handle on from Amazon with a sachet of hot choc, reindeer food (made from bird food and environmentally friendly glitter!), a carrot for Rudolph and maybe sweets, can't quite remember exactly but they sold well and I suppose you could add stuff like a little printed note from Santa.

Beanie snowmen from white sports socks filled with rice or something similar and cardboard stars wrapped in wool/yarn make nice rustic-looking tree decs!

Pinterest is great for ideas!

Pine cones, on thier sides, make good hedgehogs: just add a nose & felt ears at the pointy end, maybe front feet for stability.
