This might sound a daft question , but if I don't know , I don't know.... I have the Sky app on my phone and wondered if there is anything that I can use to plug into the phone to the TV. so I can watch Sky on a bigger screen??.
Like an HDMI lead..
Thank you

Don't have Sky, but would imagine that you should be able to cast to your TV by using a Google Chromecast ( plugged into the HDMI port of the TV). They're currently £10 off at Argos, & maybe cheaper elsewhere, but please check out my theory before buying!
You don't say what type of phone but I know you can get a lead from micro usb to HDMI as i bought one for an old phone a few years back. It wasn't long before it was superceded by a Chromecast though and that is much more flexible.
As stated above though Sky bar the viewing of their phone app on a big screen. Now TV works ok on Chromecast though.
You need an otg lead with an HDMI at one end and USB at the other. It will then mirror your phone screen on the TV. The otg is usually manufacturer specific and not all phone USB ports are otg compatible.

I have a "Razor" phone, which has a totally different charger lead to any other make, but I know you can buy a lead to fit type A to type C ..
and I should have said I only get sky sports via vodaphone.
Thank you all for you advice

It should allow you to use it if it mirrors the screen and if the HDMI cable doesn't register it as a separate display under drm. If your Razer is usb-c then there is a direct usb-c to HDMI cable as MrDasherD has pointed out. No need for a special otg cable or port.

I have now bought the chromcast device, and it works really well on some things, but not on Sky ( as reported earlier ) or showbox, so I downloaded " screen mirror" & " Allcast " from Google play store, and now everything is great..( even sky sports ).
Thank you all,for your help and advice
