Anyone away in caravan for Xmas we are on a site now and wardens say there's a lot booked on Xmas day x

Just got home from Moreton in Marsh Club site.The wardens told me that they are fully booked over Christmas and have a waiting list in case of cancellations. It is quite a big site.

Not according to the CC website as bookings still available. Booked for for New Year though! We are going there end of this week and have not bothered to book yet. Saturday shows over 100 vacancies!

We have central heating and a comfy sofa in the caravan. Wouldn't want to be in a tent though, Easter 1994 camping was the reason why we first bought a caravan.

The days are far too short to make it worth the effort - it's 3:00 and already it's too dark to walk the dog off lead, then barely light until 10:00 am.

Dark at four, in caravan until morning. No thank you. I would rather be at home.Can’t wait for spring.

Same here! we get out and about in the morning, especially as we have 2 dogs to walk atm, then back to the caravan for food, drink and tv, except on Christmas Day this time which for the first time in many a long year will be with OH's sister, her husband, their two children and five grandchildren, not used to that.

We are away 3 weeks near Whitby great views of the Abbey.then 1 week near Leyburn.Its great Turkey all ordered from local butcher in ruswarp.we are toasty and warm. Caravan has all Xmas lights all over her plus reindeer outside....have a good Xmas everyone.

You probably ate all their mince pies and don't want you back again. Friends booked yesterday at Moreton in Marsh and had no issue. This weekend there are over 100 vacancies still around.
