Do they give free advice on anything or is it just caravan related as I had a very bad fall/trip last month at work and although I'm back at work I'm still suffering a bit. People at work keep telling me to make a claim but I'm not that sort of person.
Advice would be appreciated.

PS my wife and I are caravan club members and have been for some years.
You will speak to a solicitor, and no it does not have to be caravan related.
The last time i called them it was about a dispute we had with Europcar. a car rental company.

You will need your membership number, they are open 24/7 i think.

Thanks very much for that. Will give them a call Monday
I used them to help reject a Kia Sportage Car many years ago, and found them to be Excellent. The car eventually went back to Kia and was rebuilt, resprayed, and a cash settlement for any future devaluation due to the repairs being carried out obtained. This was in 1998. I kept the car a further two years before buying another tried and trusted Honda, but at least the Club service made sure that l would not be out of pocket due to the poor resale value after the repairs had been completed.
With my permission, both the Club and Autocar magazine ran an article and published the independent engineers report on my Kia under their 'Tried and Tested' report pages the following year. I would never ever buy another Kia again. The Club also found me the right man and company to inspect my Car for the inspection report to be carried out.

Glad you found them to be helpful as they were totally useless when we asked for advice on rejecting our caravan 2 years ago.
The advice given was very poor and I knew more about CRA 2015 than they did and my knowledge was sparse. If we had taken their advice at the time we would have been several thousands pounds out of pocket!
Probably depends on who answers the phone!
I used Which legal re dodgy Bailey caravan and first advice received was contradicted by a colleague covering for original lawyer who was on holiday.
I used them last year when rejecting our caravan and the advice given turned out to be incorrect. They claimed that a caravan was classed as a motor vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act. I really think they ought to have known this!
The Caravan Club have close association with caravan manufacturers (e.g., ads, and articles provided for the magazine), so if a claim is against a caravan maker I would not be surprised if CC HQ were unhelpful.
Bertie.

I am not aware of any instances where a consumer can claim against a caravan manufacturer. Perhaps you meant the dealership or supplier and I would agree 100% with you.
