Yep, the weather was one of the reasons why we stopped camping in the uk back in 1978, since then it’s always been a fortnight campings in the South East of France, not every year, but more often than not.
Let's face it, we wouldn't have such a green and pleasant land if we didn't have our current climate and our unpredictable weather. We have much better clothing etc. to deal with our unpredictable weather than we ever did in the past when a lot of us managed and enjoyed our camping.
