I have just been having an idle mooch through the free adverts on this site and I am staggered at the complete lack of pictures of items folk want to sell. Motorhomes at £25k, no pics. Tents, caravans everything has no damn pics uploaded.
Now either this is because the uploading of pics is too difficult or folk take a chance on selling on here with words only.
I for one would like to see pictures of any potential purchase before I set off on a journey of goodness knows how many miles to view it close up.
Any thoughts?

If interested you contact seller, Pictures, description, location exchanged. Scammers on Ebay will not have access to the same. Most serious buyers will already know what size, shape, layout, age, they are looking for.

To be honest I just disagree. If you want to sell an item then make it appealing straight off. Why should anyone have to contact the seller and ask for pics? Just seems silly to me.
Two MH/Caravans can be the same model/year etc etc but look totally different in real life. A piccy helps weed the poor ones out of your search. imho.

I personally don't take much heed of photos, A few years ago someone I know asked me to pay and pick up a Pennine camper for them from Cornwall, The photos looked quiet good and it looked a reasonable buy. I arrived there after a 300 mile drive, and what a shock it was when I saw the camper, The cover must have been leaking for ages because most of the interior was rotten as a pear, I refused to accept it, a argument ensued with me being accused of wasting their time. The fact that I had driven on a almost 600 mile round trip was of no concern to them.
The result is that I am sceptical of descriptions or photos.
