The problem ive got with "Whatsap"is i cant get the microphone to turn on.

In other words,i can hear the other person but, because the microphone at my end is muted they cant hear me.

I have even reinstalled it but the mic is still switched off and i cant switch it on ?

Any help would be great..

Do you know if the mic works for other apps...facetime etc?

Sounds like a computer issue. My laptop has a physical 'Mute' switch and also mic level control in 'Settings'. This also allows selection between internal and external Mic.

Not sure whether you're using Whatsapp on a PC or Android phone. You don't say. Try going into settings, then permissions and give the app permission to use the mic. Most apps need permission to use and access certain areas and may be switched off by default.
