Just goes to show, doesn't it. Probably down to the age, make, and model of your car. Saga have never even come within the top ten for me even though I have tried them every year.

Just out of curiosity I ran a quote with one of the comparison sites. Saga came 18th on the list, £133 dearer than the cheapest quote, and they had a £500 excess. The cheapest had an excess of £245.

That is on a 2008 Nissan X trail, comprehensive insurance with maximum no claims. I have had car insurance for 53 years and only ever made one claim when a car got stolen.
