Went up and sorted the caravan out yesterday to go away on Friday then woke up to this today. It better vanish before we go away

We woke to the same in the west Pennines north of Manchester, but it's rapidly thawing. I bet the hills look lovely though.

It's cold in Wiltshire too, and Dorset where I shall be camping is not much better according to the forecast.

I am packing the trip as a winter trip with lots of layers, and have taken a pair of shorts and some Hawaiian shirts just in case the weather is nice enough to change into my summer wardrobe.

Comes rain or shine, I am going next week!

Occasional short snow showers in between periods of bright sunshine. The snow doesn't lie and is quickly gone. Main problem is the cold overnight temps. and we have to put frost protection over the plants in the polytunnel.

Not even thinking of going away for a while. We'll wait to see what parts of the country have tipped into the sea under the weight of caravans and motorhomes .

We were on a group video with mates up home in Yorkshire last night. Where it started snowing about 8pm, and was still going at midnight when we signed off. Felt sorry for them - NOT.
