Hi anyone know what are the safety regulations regarding heating in a bathroom.. The bathroom in the static is quite narrow. There is a small wall mounted glen electric heater close to the floor that is not working at the moment. Is it safe to replace it seeing the caravan is nearly thirty years old and maybe not as strict regulations then and also as its only three feet from the sink ? Thanks for any help ?
( It’s not the Fleetwood tourer - I’ll be updating shortly)

If you aren't letting the static out (when a safety certificate will be required) its a common sense call. If you feel it is unsafe in its present location remove it and find an alternative.

Assuming there is no central heating a high level wall mounted fan heater is one option. It should be hard wired into a ceiling mounted pull cord switch.

I would have thought that replacing the existing heater with an electric oil-filled radiator would be fine, as long as it is properly earthed and the switch is either a ceiling mounted pull-cord type or is fitted outside the bathroom.
