I love Gary Cross’s videos on YouTube. I know he made them when he ran his camping shop, now closed, but his wealth of practical experience will never diminish.
I enjoy Simon, A Bloke in the Woods on YouTube and Daley Outdoors (as a fellow Derbyshire inhabitant, I particularly enjoy trying to guess where he is camping…) oh and Andrew Beavers. He has documented his wild camping adventures while bagging all the wainwrights. His nighttime photography is excellent too.

yes lots on backpacking/wild camping not so much on the type of camping I do. ie bringing you kit in the car. The nearest I found was a channel called "Get Out With The Kids" but it is not much more than an endles list of reviews (more accurately adverts masquerading as reviews) for outwell products.
I tried serching car camping but that brings up more #vanlife content of people sleeping in cars.
Well that's 15 minutes of my life I'll never get back. He's no Julia Bradbury is he . Doesn't know how Lady Channings Plantation got it's name nor Ox Stones for that matter .
Has a rant to camera about walkers and mountain bikers coming in to shot when he's filming in a an area (checks notes) popular with walkers and mountain bikers. How very dare they.
Cuts from one location to another so we don't actually see the walk and when he arrives at his camping site, retrieves a bag of stuff that he stashed there earlier.
I gave up watching before he started cooking because I guessed he's no Keith Floyd either.

Yes, Get Out With The Kids has turned into an advert channel recently. Some of the backpacking channels are good for gear ideas. I was intrigued by the use of alcohol stoves and recently decided to buy a Trangia in the Blacks sale. While I will never be cooking a big dinner on it, Mr B-T and I have discovered we really like it for brewing up a coffee in the mornings and as a back up stove. I also found some YouTubers useful for getting ideas for sleeping mats and quilts - something else Mr B-T and I are converted to and no longer take sleeping bags but have quilts instead.
