Got my WFP today (W surname)
The bus pass is indeed useful...for scraping ice of the windscreen. (I have the bus pass but we don't have any buses here)
I have used my bus pass more in the past year than I have probably done since I've had it. Cost of living crisis is hitting us hard, although fortunately not as hard as it is hitting some people. One of the ways we are making cut-backs is only using the car when there is no viable alternative. Luckily for us although we live in a village, we have a fairly good bus service and a railway station, both within 10 minutes walk from home. I am also using my retired-staff train pass a lot more too.
We use them locally as we have a good bus service to town anr to a couple of nearby towns. If you live out in the rural parts of Shropshire the service is not so good.
We found them useful while we were away in our caravan. There were excellent services at Scarborough with a stop by the C& CC site also at York where you got half price on the excellent park and ride.

It's the same around here. There are 4 different towns within a 6 mile radius and a good bus service to all of them. We can also catch the train to 2 of them or go into London in the other direction should we want to, it's only a 45 minute journey. We only do that once every couple of years or so though. Not much we want to go there for these days.
Plenty of places in rural Hertfordshire that don't have a decent bus service too, and some places none at all.
We also like to use the buses where we can when we are away with the caravan. Gives me a chance to look at what's around, I don't get the chance otherwise as I'm the only driver.
Not quite sure why it all comes to me and is not split between my wife and I, but it's always been that way. We are the same age, we were both working, and we both retired on the same day as my wife deferred her retirement to when I did.
I told my new (private) dentist I won't be subsidising his holiday or new car and was quoted £275 for consultation, x-ray, two extractions and denture adjustment, which is well below the practice published prices.
My Winter Fuel allowance will pay for it. A new understanding of the term Eat or Heat
We also got the £200 credit added to our electric account today (from eon) as we have an LPG heating.
On the subject of bus passes don't move to rural Shropshire, we have to walk 1 mile up a step hill to catch one of 2 buses a day.
We often use the Senior rail cards, even when away in the van.
We live in Shropshire, bus passes are great in Telford and Shrewsbury area but if you want to go further afield there are not so many buses!
We find them useful when away in the van. Last year at Scarborough and York sites they were very useful.
We have had rebates from our energy supplier, 3 monthly payments. Our bill has gone up a lot, but we have solar panels so get a good bit back over a year.

Got our £200 credited to our electric account (Octopus) today. Younger daughter also got hers today, but as a direct payment.
Bus pass - most of our local services have been cut back or stopped. We have only one bus a week to a market town some 20 miles away. However, if we travel 8 miles to the nearest town, there is a bus every 30 mins to Aberdeen. We use our bus passes quite a lot when we're away in our van.
Handy for seeing local area and avoids any parking problems.
The Scottish bus pass is valid as far as Carlisle or Berwick upon Tweed.
