My daughter persuaded me I'd love an electric throw for the caravan - she's bought me one for Christmas. I wasn't sure but decided to get one for my husband as well anyway. His came today and I've been trying it out at home. Oh my goodness! I'm a convert and it'll take more than a bit of guile to entice me away from it. I can see the benefit also in being able to turn heating down a bit. It'll get used at home as well as the caravan.

Sounds good, and I may need one if I were to go camping later this month.
Which one did you get/receive please and I shall see if I can get one from Amazon?
Thanks in advance.

I absolutely love my electric throw and use it all the time at home, especially at the minute when we can’t get the house above 15 degrees without it costing us a small fortune. Mine has a velour feel on one side and Sherpa fleece on the other and in the autumn, it is toasty warm even without switching it on. It is the best thing I have ever bought in terms of keeping me warm.
I have to agree about the heated throws. I got mine from Aldi last year and it is great for reducing the heating bills at home or caravanning in the winter. The only issue I have is that once it warms up and I get nice and toasty I can't stay awake!

Same for me. They are fantastic. Pricey but worth it in the long run. I also have a 12v one. Our last van had a rubbish heater when we were on the move.
I refrained from getting one, very close to ordering it, however, I looked down and saw Bean chewing the bed that he nicked from the cat, and thought against it!

You'd be there though to supervise bean and when you're not using the throw it would be folded away.

We've just bought a couple of Dreamland heated throws and they're great. We went for Dreamland because we have one of their dual control heated underblankets on our bed and it's one of the best buys ever - we love it!

Thats all fine, if you are going to wear it like a shawl all round the house - including the minute you get out of the shower. Nothing worse than a cold bathroom! (not to mention sat reading the paper).
