Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask this. My husband and I have been trying and failing to find somewhere to store our caravan near to us (were in CW10 Cheshire), we don't mind travelling 30 mins or so to a site, but we are really struggling and we being told that many sites are shutting so it will only get worse :( Is anyone having the same issue? Anyone have any ideas where we can store or know of any sites Cheshire/Greater Manchester/West Staffordshire that might have some availability? Much appreciated.
I store my van at wards end farm which is a cassoa platinum site.
It’s at Leigh near bents garden centre, my 1st van was bought from a storage site at stone Staffordshire, it was really good and 24hr access
Don’t the name or if it’s still there
Have a look on the CaSSOA website and here on UKCS.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We store ours at John Mason International, about 2 minutes from J6 of the M62. It is so convenient that we put up with the ridiculous price. It is hard to tell if the spaces on site are because they are available or because the people who store in them are away on holiday, but there are definitely lots of empty spaces at the minute.

Hello Ems
The Old Hough Caravan Storage
Is in your Area
The Storage Yard
Forge Mill Lane Warmingham
Middlewich CW10 OHQ Cheshire
Thank you. The Old Hough in Warmingham was one of the ones we were told is shutting - well in this instance reducing its size, we spoke to them last year and they had a huge waiting list :(
Not my neck of the woods, so can't be specific, but many of the club sites (CCC & CAMC) have storage yards. It'd mean joining the club, and storage fees won't be cheap, but often secure and entitling you to a discount on your outfit insurance, so that offsets costs a little. Probably need to visit the club web sites and see what facilities each site offers.
In general, there does seem to be a shortage of storage and around my way, there is a waiting list on most of the yards.
