You can buy plug-in power failure alarms, but you need to find the cause of the tripping. If the breaker trips regularly there must be a fault in the system, unless the actual breaker is underrated. Installing an alarm will not correct the fault.
Agreed, have to find out why or it'll probably keep popping.
Our kitchen circuit has tripped off twice at the mains circuit board: once easily sorted as we were using the toaster, and it went off again when we used it a second time. Second time took an electrician to trace the problem, as it was the outside covered electric socket that had got water into it; the whole house went off while I was reading my book in bed (or we wouldn't have known until morning). We had to get the fridge /freezer onto a trailing flex from the next room, at midnight, so we didn't lose everything.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Thanks for all who replied. OH has one on the way off the big internet trader page.It has a sensor you can use inside freezer and set at the degrees you want, the other part is the alarm i can stick in the kitchen. The breaker he installed in shed only tripped the freezer. Odd as this comes straight from the house.OH thinks one of the rescue spiders we turf out of the house may have caused the trip.
Yes at work its always the toaster.
