Just had our nearly 10 yr old retriever at vet for annual booster. The vet mentioned that she has some arthritis in her left knee. Hips still good ( phew) The vet recommended starting her on Yumove. Although happy to try, would welcome any comments.

Our Lab Harry went on that and he made it to 18. Died of old age, nothing actually wrong with him.

My neighbour's dog has arthritis and Yumove appears to have had a greatly beneficial effect. I wouldn't buy it from the vet though, it is far cheaper on-line.

Wow, that’s a fantastic age. We lost our last retriever very suddenly at 10! Pops is nearly 10 and I watch her like a hawk! The vet said it’s just one knee but we have noticed her slowing down esp. on the beach. If these will help keep her comfy, happy to try them.

I've got a bad knee and hips. I take Imove which is the human version of Ymove. I find it helps.

Our "no idea how old he is but obviously getting on a bit and had a hard life" rescue has been on YuMove for about 18 months now. We started him on the basic tablet when he just seemed a bit stiff, then progressed him to the "plus" tablet after a while, which has worked well for him till recently, so we're about to try him on the new strongest tablets, as he sometimes hobbles a bit when walking. I find the cheapest option is a subscription from YuMove themselves - they often have really good introductory offers and competitive prices on subscription. Our chunky fella needs 2 tablets a day, so the cheapest option is 120 tablets every 2 months (cheaper than 60 tablets every month), postage included. You can suspend, cancel or change your delivery date at any time - I find it easiest to phone up (no long waits on hold) and have found them helpful, friendly and efficient every time. One delivery had been despatched but not arrived, so I phoned them about it and they sent out a new delivery to arrive the next day. The initial delivery arrived several days later so I phoned to inform them and was told they would just amend my next delivery date and I would not be charged for the extra tablets - so essentially I got 2 months of tablets free!
In short, the tablets help the dog with his mobility, subscription prices direct from YuMove are competitive and their customer service is excellent, so I would recommend you give them a try.

We started our 12 year old whippet on Yumove some months ago. It has made a huge difference. We found that it took several weeks before we noticed the benefits, but they are definitely there! She now plays more readily with our other dog and even chases him out in the fields. Things she hasn't done for years.

We put our 12 year old Yorky on Yumove due to arthritis and now she is playing with the puppy. Wish there was something similar for human beings.

Our old girl was on Yumove and it did make a difference.
Bought it from them for quite some time then realised that the exact same ingredients are in an equivalent on Amazon for a lot less money.
Swapped and the results were exactly the same.

imove seems to be the human equivalent from the same company. The main active ingredient is Glucosamine Sulphate, which is readily available in Boots. No idea whether it is as effective though, or what it costs.

Why not a link to that Amazon product? Thanks.

My last dog was on it for a few years, and it absolutely made a very positive difference.

Wouldn't hesitate to give to current dog if/when she looks in need, which sadly at 10 years old, and having had a broken leg as a 6 month old pup, I do rather expect to happen in not too distant future.

Shop around for best prices/deals, and that is NOT likely to be from your vet who if like most, will exploit you with above RRP type prices rather than disounts!

I bought some Yumove from Amazon. They were just over £31 for 120. Hopefully, we’ll see some improvement and then I’ll look at subscription as this seems the cheaper way to go.

There are alternates that are cheaper and do the exact same job, also available on subscription.

One off purchase for 120 is £19.98, subscription is £17.98
One off purchase for 300 is £29.99, subscription is £26.99

I'm on Imove and we go for a walk she gets abit funny about me looking for lamp posts, gate posts etc. She reckons I look strange cocking my leg up in public. Seriously though it seems to relieve my pain in my hip and hips.
