In Feb, this year, I bought a new wheel for my wheelbarrow. Of course, everyone wants instant feedback on your purchase, so I said that the wheel was OK, but since the hub was narrower than the original one, I would need extra spacers.
Now, two months later, the seller sent me a note saying that my negative feedback was damaging his business and in return for removing my feedback and returning the wheel I could get a full refund.
I ignored this and then I got another note offering a partial refund in return for removing my feedback. I'm using the barrow, with the new modified wheel, and I have a good mind to tell the seller where he can stick his refund.
------------- Two drifters off to see the world.
I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.

to be fair, you have to look at it from the sellers point of view, algorithms are based on feedback, and this can effect a genuine good seller.
I mostly give glowing feedback, even when there is an issue, recently I had a digital tyre depth gauge arrive broken but still usable, and the same with a small electric fan heater, another was a ceramic E27 BULB holder, that was a different design to the one shown, but still useable with a little modification, all three Ebay seller's simply gave me a full refund and did not request the product to be returned.
On the other hand on receiving what was supposed to be a 100ah LiFePO4 battery from an AliExpress seller, that was actually a 50ah battery I raised a dispute, and the the order was frozen, preventing me from leaving feedback as a warning to other potential buyers.
Thankfully I got a full refund from my CC company, as AliExpress defended the seller, it was an interesting experience and took around 6 months to resolve, worth the wait though as I got to keep the 50ah battery for free !.

giving glowing feedback when the seller clearly isnt deserving of it is the reason they think its ok with them demanding you change your feedback, and frankly making the whole point of feedback a mockery, why anybody would give "glowing feedback" when the sale was less then exactly what you had ordered defeats me. you wouldnt do it if tesco got your shopping delivery completely wrong so why treat these sellers any differently?

Was the wheel misrepresented in the ad? Were dimensions given? Was a listing error made by the seller, or did you just assume it would fit?
I've no idea why you're peeved that the seller has offered you a full refund for removal of your negative feedback; what more could they do?

" and in return for removing my feedback and returning the wheel I could get a full refund." because what the seller was doing was clearly bribery!
